For as long as she can remember, Julie has been doing makeup for friends and
family members for various special occasions. While simultaneously studying for her
Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Julie began working as an independent
makeup artist. In the year 2000, Julie specialized in makeup for college formals, and
easily segued into makeup for brides and bridal parties.
Julie has trained by doing. For six years, she has work intensively with other certified,
professional makeup artists. Since Julies makeup career has blossomed largely
through word-of-mouth, she feels strongly that her reputation speaks for her artistic
talents. She feels that each woman has her own natural beauty, and takes pride in
helping her clients find this beauty in themselves. Julies credits include weddings,
proms, formal events, bridal shows, and fashion shows.
By working as a makeup artist, and receiving her Master of Arts Degree in
Counseling Services, Julie has found that doing makeup has been a wonderful
compliment to her love of counseling she is able to help women feel beautiful both
emotionally and physically!
